Job DescriptionJob ID#:4349Job Category:Information TechnologyWe are seeking a Level I Systems Engineer to provide exceptional technical support and ensure the smooth operation of our clients’ IT systems. In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, deliver efficient solutions, and consistently exceed client expectations.Responsibilities of the Level I Systems Engineer will include:

  • Provide technical assistance via phone, email, and remote tools.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues quickly and effectively.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through both remote and onsite support.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to ensure all technical requirements are met.
  • Use initiative and sound judgment to address client needs within established procedures.
  • Escalate complex problems to senior technicians or other teams as needed.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software systems.
  • Document support interactions and resolutions thoroughly and accurately.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry technologies and best practices.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team success.

Job RequirementsQualifications of the Level I Systems Engineer:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably within a Managed Service Provider environment (preferred).
  • Experience troubleshooting M365.
  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems.
  • Experience resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of IT fundamentals, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
  • Ability to analyze and solve technical problems efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
  • Team-oriented, with a collaborative approach to resolving technical challenges.
  • Strong attention to detail in documenting support interactions and solutions.
