Lapping Operator – Temp to HireA well-known contract manufacturing company is currently seeking for a Lapping Operator in Hudson, MA. This is a temp to hire opportunity!Shift of the Lapping Operator:
Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00Pay Rate of the Lapping Operator:
$21/hrResponsibilities of the Lapping Operator:

• Check the tables and machines regularly
• Measure pieces before, during and after processing
• Determine the optimal run-time for each job based on specifications
• Cut fixtures with a scroll saw when required
• Load parts and run 1-2 machines at the same time
• Flip and rotate parts to ensure an even finish
• Follow prescribed safety regulations

Requirements of the Lapping Operator:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred
• Excellent hand eye coordination and finger dexterity required
• Demonstrated experience handling small and fragile parts
• Must have a continuous improvement attitude and strong attention to detail
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude
