The Role
We’re seeking a Junior Golf Recruitment Specialist to identify, recruit, and enroll talented junior golfers who will thrive at Sora Schools. In this role, you will combine your passion for golf and education to connect with families, coaches, and golf industry leaders to showcase how Sora Schools can help student-athletes balance academic excellence with their goals on the course.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of junior golf education, build relationships within the golf community, and play a pivotal role in growing Sora’s enrollment.
Salary
This is a full time, 3 month contract role with a possibility to extend or convert to an employee, depending on organizational needs. The compensation for this position will be $5,425/mo.
Location
This is a fully remote role with some travel required.
Preference will be given to candidates living in the Southeast United States.

What You’ll Do
- Recruitment Strategy Development:Develop and execute a recruitment strategy to attract junior golfers to Sora Schools. Identify key regions, tournaments, and organizations where elite junior golfers compete.Track and manage a pipeline of prospective students and families.
- Relationship Building:Build relationships with junior golfers, their families, coaches, trainers, golf academies, and organizations such as AJGA, U.S. Kids Golf, PGA Junior League, and local/regional golf associations. Act as the primary ambassador for Sora Schools within the junior golf community.
- Outreach and Engagement: Attend junior golf tournaments, showcases, and events to connect with prospective students and families. Host virtual and in-person information sessions highlighting Sora Schools’ flexible and customized approach to education for student-athletes. Collaborate with marketing to create tailored messaging and materials to appeal to the junior golf community.
- Family Guidance and Enrollment: Serve as a trusted resource to families navigating the balance between academics and high-level athletics.Communicate Sora’s value proposition clearly and passionately, guiding families through the enrollment process.
- Partnership Development:Identify and pursue partnerships with golf academies, training centers, and industry leaders to position Sora Schools as the premier online education provider for junior golfers.
- Market Awareness:Stay informed on trends in junior golf, such as college recruitment, tournament schedules, and student-athlete demands.Provide feedback to the Sora Schools team to continuously refine programs for student-athletes.
Qualifications
- Passionate About Golf and Education: You have a deep love for golf and believe that young athletes deserve flexible, high-quality education options.
- Connected in the Golf World: Experience or connections in the junior golf space (e.g., coaching, college recruitment, golf academies, tournaments) are a major plus.
- A Relationship Builder: You thrive on connecting with people, building trust, and guiding families through big decisions.
- An Effective Communicator: You can clearly articulate Sora’s mission, values, and programs to families, coaches, and organizations.
- Organized and Strategic: You can manage multiple relationships, events, and initiatives while considering the big picture.
- A Self-Starter: You’re proactive, driven, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
- Additional Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in education, sports management, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Previous experience in recruitment, admissions, coaching, or the junior golf world. Strong knowledge of the junior golf ecosystem, including organizations, tournaments, and college pathways.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to travel to golf tournaments and events as needed.
