Posted on behalf ofNorton Motorcycles LtdOur client, an iconic motorcycle manufacturer based in the UK is currently looking to hire a Junior Buyer – Accessories. The successful candidate will an enthusiastic and capable individual whose internal relationships will be as important as those with your suppliers.The Junior Buyer – Accessories will:

• Purchase Accessories (off the bike), Merchandise and Apparel in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets
• Process purchase requisitions (as per the agreed guidelines) and release of Purchase Orders to suppliers.
• Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications, ensuring a professional and consistent approach.
• Early supplier engagement, preparation and communication of RFQ to supplier.
• Negotiate supplier quotes for release of PO.

The Junior Buyer – Accessories will have:

• Experience of merchandise/accessories buying is desirable within a Retail / Merchandise buying environment.
• Confidence to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments.
• Comfortable using all Microsoft Office packages.
• Knowledge and experience of using SAP is desirable.
• Negotiation skills and commercial awareness.
