IT Test Engineer

Introduction

Are you an experienced, driven Software Quality specialist and passionate about translating business needs into innovative IT solutions? We’re looking for a Senior Test specialist, who delivers structure-, in-depth expertise and Test automation guidance to validate the business processes in our Global environments.

We’re looking for a hands-on person who knows from experience what is needed to deliver good code and working software solutions either in ERP environments or from internal developed applications. Embracing AI for Test automation is a major direction to grow in our test execution.

Role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be at the heart of our IT team, transforming business requirements into effective, high-quality Test scripts for SAP S/4 HANA solutions and internal developed Applications. You’ll partner closely with business teams, helping them streamline processes, improve efficiency, and implement IT solutions that align ASML best practices.

You will be a key player within our Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), working in the IT Manufacturing Agile Release Train (ART). Our global operations serve multiple factories in multiple countries, including the Netherlands, Germany, US, Taiwan, and Korea, and you’ll be integral in ensuring all IT applications in our factories run smoothly and effectively.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, execute and report (automated)test scripts for functional, integration, performance and regression testing.
• Develop & maintain automated test script Libraries for Regression testing.
• Manage automation code with version control system.
• Design and execution of manual test cases.
• Ensuring pipeline integration for continuous automated testing .
• Actively support/lead the implementation of test improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Product Owners to define epics, features, and user stories, ensuring smooth delivery w.r.t. the Testing domain.
• Support the Scrum Master and Product Owner in managing dependencies with other teams and ARTs.
• Provide hands-on support during testing (unit tests, SIT, UAT) and documentation.

Education and experience

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Over 8-10 years of experience in Testing domain for SAP and Non SAP applications.
• Certified in TMAP and/or ISTQB standards.
• Strong knowledge of Test- and Defect management processes.
• Proven ability to implement and use Test Management tooling like Octane and Test automation tooling like Tosca.
• A customer-focused, results-driven mindset with excellent communication skills in English.
• A proactive team player who thrives in fast pacing environments and demonstrates strong quality- accurate and analytical skills.
• The ability to influence and manage relationships across various teams, while staying focused on achieving ASML standard solutions.
