Role: IT Environment Manager 

Location : Pittsburgh PA , Birmingham AL , Phoenix AZ , Cleveland OH , Dallas TX , Philadelphia PA , Jacksonville FL , Miamisburg OH , Rocky Mount NC ( Hybrid Role )

Job Type – Full Time Position

Job Description

• Good Communication skills
• 7+ yrs Experience in Test environment Management
• Should be able to create , manage Test environment ( Non Production environment)
• Good Understanding of Test data , policies and procedure to set up the test environment
• Good understanding of below activities related to test environments
• Environment Monitoring (Monitoring)
• Deleting/ updating outdated test-environments and its details (Housekeeping)
• Preliminary investigation of issues on the environment and sometimes co-ordination till an issue resolution (Incident Management)
• Analyzing data for environment issues, identifying trends and taking pro-active steps to resolve issues / co-coordinating for a long term fix. (Problem Management)

• Excellent knowledge on ITIL standards for

o Incident Management

o Configuration Management & Service request fulfillment

o Environment Scheduling and contention management &

o Release and Deployment management

• Should understand the current utilization of the test environment assets and suggest industry proven tools for effective utilization of test environments
• Should have hands on knowledge on Continuous Integration and Continuous deployments (CI/CD)
• Fair knowledge on types of test environment operating model , maturity levels and measurement criteria
• Rational knowledge on enterprise level test environment landscape at infrastructure layer , application layer and user level
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to quickly adapt to changing and competing priorities.

• Should have fair knowledge on CLOUD computing, virtualization and service virtualization to analyze and suggest environment utilization related solutions
• Sound knowledge of business/ organization, Bank standards, infrastructure, architecture, and technology in related areas from a design/ support/ solutions perspective.
• Hands-on experience in review client’s test environments across multiple projects/programs, recommend and gaining senior management commitment in driving towards best in class operating model
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Languages: ASP, ASP.Net, C#, C++, Java, J2EE etc.
• Middleware: IIS, Weblogic, WebSphere, Tomcat etc.
• Databases: SQL Server, Oracle
• Web Services: SOAP, XML, WSDL, JSON
• Environment: Windows Server, IIS, DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, DMZ, SAN, Web, Virtualization, Windows Clustering, Network Load Balancing, Service Oriented Architecture, General Network Infrastructure

Nice to have (knowledge of 1 or more of the competencies listed below would be very beneficial)

• Apache and general HTTP proxies
