Job Summary
This position coordinates the DNR’s field program to detect, monitor, and remove invasive carp state-wide in all Minnesota rivers. The incumbent will design and perform sampling and removal plans with various gears in a variety of habitats, targeting all life stages of invasive carp and native species within similar habitats and coordinate state-wide invasive carp field-related activities and outreach across divisions and regions. The position supervises all invasive carp program field staff and acts as the department’s representative in directing private contractors involved in invasive carp removal.
Potential report to work locations for this position include either St. Paul and Lake City.
This position has a flexible work arrangement and may be eligible to telework on a part-time basis which is subject to change. If approved, the employee would be required to complete a telework agreement. This position may require reporting to the primary work location on a regular basis.

This position requires an unrestricted Class D Driver’s License with a clear driving record.
