The goal is to ensure that these corporations are compliant with Virginia tax laws.The successful candidate must demonstrate professionalism, self-motivation, excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently. High-speed Internet connection (preferably not Satellite) is REQUIRED with a Download speed of 2 MB or higher and an Upload speed of 1 MB or higher. So do you.Minimum QualificationsProgressive work experience with state sales & use tax auditingExtensive knowledge of and experience with accounting, auditing, state and federal corporate tax laws, rules and regulationsComputer skills and experience with Microsoft office software as well as electronic data & filesMust reside in or in the general vicinity or one of the surrounding areas listed above (Chicago, Miami, or Atlanta)Must have own transportation available to travel to audits throughout the geographical coverage areaHave a quiet, safe and private home-based work office/space (subject to inspection) with high speed Internet (not wireless) & locking file cabinet.
