In joining the function, you will have the opportunity to contribute to GIA’s ongoing development and innovation as well as be supported in the development of your own career within Internal Audit.GIA is committed to supporting Quilter’s Board and Executive Management by providing independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve the organisation’s operations.It helps Quilter accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.About the RoleLevel:3Department: Internal AuditLocation: Southampton or LondonContract type: PermanentThis role will contribute to the effective production and delivery of audit data, management information (MI) and reporting for the Quilter Internal Audit team, to help the Board, Executive Management and the Audit and Risk Committees protect the assets, reputation and sustainability of the organisation.The role does this by:

• Managing GIA’s enabling software-as-a-service technology solution (TM+), including configuration and support, as well assessing and deploying new functionality which adds value to Quilter. This will include liaison with the application vendors to understand product roadmaps.
• Developing and maintaining a suite of Internal Audit reporting solutions for key stakeholders to enable tracking and management of Internal Audit Issues and Actions, using PowerBI or similar reporting and visualisation software.
• Retrieving and analysing audit MI and data to track and manage Internal Audit Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and support planning and delivery of audits by the Internal Audit Team; and
• Finding ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the production of audit reporting.

As a GIA Reporting, MI and Data Analyst, you will manage the TM+ audit management system, including support and development activities as well as continuous improvement and the implementation of new features. TM+ forms the core application for GIA and is the system of record for all activities.You will have some liaison with the application vendors as well as Quilter Technology, to ensure the application continues to meet the needs of GIA and our stakeholders.You will also develop and maintain a suite of reporting solutions for the Internal Audit team. This will involve identifying reporting requirements, key data sources and testing and implementing high-quality outputs using PowerBI or similar visualisation and reporting software, utilising APIs (and similar) to enable GIA reporting.You will engage with, and develop Internal Audit’s relationship with, key stakeholders to support and resolve queries in relation to reporting and adapt output as appropriate.You will analyse data and produce Management Information (MI) to support decision making and drive continuous improvement across the function and perform ongoing analysis of the accuracy, consistency, relevance, and integrity of Audit data.

Additionally, you will contribute to the effective delivery of audits by supporting others performing, or by performing audit testing that makes use of data analytics techniques.You will also have the opportunity to contribute to department initiatives, including supporting in GIA’s continuous improvement programme, considering innovative approaches including for example applying data analytics and agile auditing principles.While GIA leverage digital tools to communicate with colleagues across our various office locations, there may be a small and limited amount of flexible travel required.About YouApplications from people with diverse backgrounds enables our inclusive organisation to thrive. You could be exactly what this role needs.To succeed in this role, you will have strong data management skills, a good working knowledge of PowerBI and alternative data analytics tools, for example IDEA.You will have experience and understanding of data analytic and visualisation techniques and knowledge or experience of building reports, including the configuration of APIs.
