Vaco is seeking an experienced and self-starting Interim Accounting Manager to join a dynamic client organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to key financial operations while collaborating with leadership on special projects.
Responsibilities

• General Accounting & Financial Management: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage AP/AR processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and prepare accurate financial reports for stakeholders.
• Leadership Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership on special projects, delivering actionable insights and solutions.

Candidate Must-Haves * Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Relevant Experience:
• Previous experience with investment firms or holding companies is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in QuickBooks.
• Preferred experience with Bill.com
• Professional Attributes:
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Candidates must demonstrate the ability to learn processes with minimal guidance.

Expected salary

$50 – 60 per hour
