Job Description:Save the Children International has an exciting opportunity for Inter-Agency Child Protection Information Management (IM) Senior Advisor to join our global team.Team and Job PurposeThe purpose of the Child Protection Center Humanitarian Team is to respond effectively to humanitarian child protection needs, both within our organization and collaboratively at the interagency level, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in crisis situations. We strive to provide timely and appropriate interventions, leveraging our expertise and resources to advocate for and protect vulnerable children. Our commitment is to work inclusively and collaboratively with partners to strengthen child protection mechanisms, even under challenging circumstances.To lead the integration and standardisation of child protection data management across humanitarian contexts, ensuring the alignment with global standards to enhance strategic decision-making, planning, and advocacy while supporting the meaningful interpretation and application of data for effective humanitarian responses.Job Title: Inter-Agency Child Protection Information Management (IM) Senior AdvisorReports To: Senior Humanitarian Advisor, Inter-agencyWork Pattern: Hybrid/Remote with flexible working options availableContract Length: Fixed Term Contract 12 monthsLocation: Any approved Save the Children International office location. Experience and SkillsEssential1. Demonstrable technical expertise in managing the data and information cycle, including data collection, storage, analysis for diverse datasets, and presentation of information in visually appealing formats such as charts, graphs, and reports.2. Strong communication and facilitation skills to effectively engage with stakeholders, peers, and communities, ensuring that diverse voices are heard and respected.3. Research skills and resourcefulness, enabling innovative solutions and fostering a culture of creativity within the organisation.4. A foundation of experience in child protection case management information management is essential for ensuring the safety and protection of the children we serve.5. Experience in high-quality humanitarian programmes and providing technical support demonstrates a commitment to excellence and accountability.6. Strong experience in capacity building and mentoring is necessary to develop the skills of team members and foster an environment of learning and personal development.7. A background in working independently and delivering results aligns with our values of ambition and accountability.Desirable8. Experience in child protection cluster coordination management would be an advantage, highlighting leadership and collaborative skills.Education and QualificationsEssential1. An advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in information management, information systems, data science, statistics, or a related field is essential. This reflects our commitment to ensuring that all staff have the technical knowledge necessary for their roles.Desirable:2.
