Our on-premise products are well established with strong customer loyalty and we are in the midst of bringing our globally successful cloud based product to the Canadian market!We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. This is an inside sales style role, and you will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and nurturing leads within the dental industry. The role will also include some closing responsibilities, providing an excellent stepping stone toward a future Account Executive position.The ideal candidate will have 6 months to a year of experience in a BDR or SDR role and will be eager to take on closing responsibilities while progressing within the company. This is a hybrid position, with one day per week in the office and the remainder of the week spent working remotely.Key Responsibilities:

  • Quickly acquire and continually build on dental industry knowledge, predominantly focusing on the business aspects
  • Conduct targeted research to build a robust pipeline of leads through cold calling, email outreach, within our current base of PMS customers.
  • Qualify inbound leads, secure initial meetings and ensure accurate lead information is captured in our CRM system.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within dental practices.
  • Educate potential clients about the features and benefits of our software support solution to meet their specific business needs.
  • Engage with prospects through regular follow-up calls, emails, and online meetings, ensuring they move through the sales funnel.
  • Engage in consultative selling to ensure that prospects fully understand how our software can address their practice’s operational challenges.
  • Close deals and drive new business by converting qualified leads into customers.
  • Work closely with the sales team, marketing, and customer success departments to ensure seamless lead transition and customer satisfaction.
  • Regularly update CRM with lead progress, opportunities, and feedback.
  • Provide regular reports on lead generation, conversion rates, and sales performance.

Qualifications and Abilities

  • Strong cold-calling, email outreach, and prospecting skills.
  • Experience handling objections and building rapport with decision-makers.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) to manage leads, opportunities, and track progress.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
  • Occasional travel to attend sales events or exhibits
  • High level of integrity and work ethic.
  • Work with autonomy, managing your day/week.
  • Motivated by achieving sales targets and meeting quotas.
  • Open to feedback and willing to adjust approach to improve performance.
  • Proactively seeks to learn more about the dental industry and sales techniques.
  • Strong focus on understanding the needs of prospects and offering solutions tailored to those needs.
  • Collaborates effectively with colleagues across departments to achieve company goals.
  • Shares insights, experiences, and best practices with the sales team to improve overall performance.

Experience:

  • University level education, preferred
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in a Business Development Representative (BDR), Sales Development Representative (SDR), or similar outbound sales role.
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding targets.
  • Previous experience in selling software or SaaS solutions is preferred but not required.

Work Environment & Schedule:This is an inside sales style position, which means most of your work will be done remotely, but you will be required to spend one day per week in the office for team collaboration, training, and meetings. The rest of the week will be remote, offering you the flexibility to manage your own schedule and work in a way that suits you best.Career Growth:This position is designed as a stepping stone toward an Account Executive role, where you’ll take on full ownership of the sales process, and product lines.
