Join Our Thriving Team as an Infrastructure Manager

As an Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our organization’s technical infrastructure. You will lead a team of IT professionals to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our IT systems, including servers, storage, networking, and cloud services. Your role will involve strategic planning, project management, and collaboration with various departments to support the organization’s goals and objectives.

 

What You Will Do:

• Leadership and Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery. Foster an environment that encourages innovation and collaboration.
• Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Develop and implement infrastructure solutions, both cloud and on premises, that meet business requirements and align with industry best practices. Ensure the scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness of the infrastructure.
• Financial Management: Develop cost assessments for infrastructure projects and manage, monitor, and report costs. Optimize resource allocation to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Collaboration with Business and IT Teams: Work with other IT and business members to implement and maintain IT systems and services. Ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Ensuring Security: Implement appropriate security controls and measures to protect IT systems and data. Stay updated with emerging security threats and best practices.
• Optimizing Performance: Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with service providers to optimize IT services. Ensure high availability and reliability of IT systems.
• Data Migration and Disaster Recovery: Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new infrastructure and cloud.  Plan and implement data backup and disaster recovery procedures.
• Staying Updated: Keep up to date with emerging technologies and trends in IT infrastructure. Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve operations.

 

Skills That Make a Difference:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or relevant equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure design and management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and cloud services. Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and infrastructure management tools.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Communication Skills: Effectively communicate complex technical information to management and IT partners.
• Project Management: Experience in managing IT projects and coordinating with various teams. Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CISSP, Cisco Certified Network Professional Data Center, VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization, or Certified Data Center Management Professional or cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
