Our Industrialisation Packaging Engineer will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our iconic packaging. We are seeking a talented and experienced professional to join our NPD team, who will be responsible in making a significant impact on our brand’s packaging journey.As a key member of the Packaging Development team, and with the support of the Head of Packaging Development – NPD, they will be instrumental in bringing to life innovative and iconic primary packaging for Charlotte Tilbury products. This is a unique opportunity to blend creativity and technical expertise, ensuring our packaging remains at the forefront of the beauty industry.As a Industrialisation Packaging Engineer you will

  • Work closely with our internal Design Team to translate 2D design renders into fully functioning Technical Drawings ready for tool making and industrialising at our suppliers.
  • Have a focus predominantly on Primary Packaging
  • Work closely with Packaging Development, Quality and our key suppliers
  • Have a great understanding of the primary packaging landscape, materials, production methods and processes
  • Provide highly detailed technical, creative, operational, commercial and sustainable packaging engineering solutions.
  • Create precise and detailed technical drawings including all tolerances, materials, weights and specifications.
  • Create testing parameters for specifications.
  • Provide expertise and recommendations on design execution.
  • Stress test designs, fine tune drawings and foresee problems or weak points before tooling commencement.

Who you will work withPackaging Development, NPD, Quality, Creative AgencyAbout you

  • Proficient in Autodesk Fusion 360 or similar software
  • Have a beauty packaging engineering background and a passion for creating new innovative, sustainable, and amazing looking premium packaging
  • Extensive experience working on Primary packaging designs.
  • You will have excellent knowledge of homologation and industrialisation
  • You will have extensive experience in the creation of packaging tooling.
  • Proven track record in a similar role with an excellent understanding of the global Beauty packaging landscape.
  • Proven ability to balance and understand challenges around luxury/premium packaging, sustainability, quality, costs & timings.
  • Highly organised and enjoy working on multiple complex projects at the same time.
  • Be self-driven, result-orientated and have excellent communication skills.
