Maintenance TechnicianKernersville$30 – $40*Direct Hire Opportunity!*Shift: 1st shift 7am-3:30pm
Job Summary:This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of production equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, with a proactive approach to minimizing downtime and optimizing production efficiency.Key Responsibilities:· Perform routine and preventative maintenance on pillow-filling machines, sewing machines, cutting equipment, conveyors, and other production systems.· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to ensure minimal production downtime.· Inspect, diagnose, and resolve equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.· Assist in the installation, setup, and optimization of new machinery and equipment.· Maintain accurate maintenance records and document completed repairs and inspections.· Work closely with production teams to identify and address recurring equipment issues.· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies regarding equipment maintenance and repairs.· Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance equipment performance and efficiency.

· Participate in emergency maintenance and on-call support as needed.Qualifications & Skills:· Experience: 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably in textiles, soft goods, or similar industries).· Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.· Equipment Knowledge: Experience with pillow-filling machines, sewing machines, cutting equipment, and conveyors preferred.· PLC & Automation: Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and automated production systems is a plus.· Troubleshooting Ability: Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues quickly.· Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Expected salary

$62400 – 80000 per year
