Job Title: Lab AssistantJob DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated Lab Assistant to join our team. Our company produces at-home testing kits and this role involves working with urine, blood, and fecal samples. The Lab Assistant will be responsible for opening and sorting samples, collecting samples, inputting information into our laboratory information system, and verifying patient information. Additional responsibilities include cutting and coating kit samples, labeling and prepping samples for the technicians, and entering the kit data into the system once the testing is completed.Responsibilities

• Receive and quarantine all specimen packages.
• Open and sort specimens.
• Check specimens for acceptance criteria.
• Separate and properly code all non-testable specimens.
• Enter and verify all specimen information into the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
• Assist in strip manufacturing duties, including cutting and preparing strips for coating.
• Receive and log in any deliveries of laboratory supplies.
• Assist in manual entry and verification of laboratory results.
• Perform all other duties assigned by the Laboratory Manager and/or Laboratory Supervisor.
• Notify the supervisor of any possible deviations from documented procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences with 0 years of experience
• OR High School Diploma + 6 months of lab experience

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 – $18.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
