Sonographer/Ultrasound Technician-Women’s Health (Trainer) | Contract Role

• Location: Saranac Lake, NY 12983
• Weekly Pay Rate: $2,480 – $2,760
• Schedule: 8-hour days
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Train and mentor new sonographers and clinical staff on techniques, protocols, and equipment use.
• Ensure image quality, accuracy, and consistency in all scans.
• Provide compassionate patient care and explain procedures clearly.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support diagnosis and treatment.
• Manage ultrasound equipment, including routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records and reports.
• Participate in ongoing education to stay current with industry standards and advancements.

Requirements:

• MUST BE FEMALE (for patient comfort and department policy in Women’s Health).
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of clinical experience in women’s health ultrasound (OB/GYN, pelvic).
• Must be highly proficient in breast ultrasounds and biopsies.
• American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)-REQUIRED
• BLS Certification-Required
• Proven experience working in a Women’s Health imaging setting.
• Strong interpersonal and training skills.
