“We are seeking a RN – Vascular Operating Room for a 13-weeks travel/contract assignment in Rochester, New York 14621. Both local and traveler candidates are welcome to apply.”Job Details:

• Shift: 12-hr. Days
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Pay Rate: $2,484 – $2,628

Responsibilities:

• Assist with and circulate in open vascular and hybrid/endovascular OR procedures
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field in compliance with surgical protocols
• Monitor patient status and vital signs during procedures
• Collaborate with vascular surgeons, radiologists, and surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient patient care
• Administer medications and manage surgical instruments and supplies
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team
• Provide compassionate, high-quality care aligned with evidence-based practice
• Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience required.
• Prior experience with EPIC EMR system preferred
• Must have Vascular experience

Licensure & Certification:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License-New York State
• Basic Life Support (BLS)-American Heart Association (AHA)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)-AHA

Travel & Local Considerations:

• Does not accept local RN candidates within 75 miles.
