As the Identity Verification Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the identity verification and background check processes for candidates. You will manage third-party vendors and liaise with candidates, hiring managers, and recruiters to ensure all documentation is accurate, compliant, and verified in a timely manner. This role is vital to the organization’s success, ensuring seamless and compliant onboarding processes.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage candidate background checks through third-party vendors, ensuring timely completion.
- Conduct email outreach to candidates to collect missing or unclear documentation.
- Validate documentation provided in HireRight, conducting independent research to resolve any discrepancies.
- Adjudicate background checks following company guidelines, ensuring strict attention to detail.
- Manage identity verification processes through third-party vendors, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with candidates and hiring managers.
- Ensure all identity verification processes are tracked and updated accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service in all communications with candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.
- Adhere to adjudication processes but demonstrate the ability to think critically and make recommendations for exceptions.
- Assist with process improvements, project management, and data gathering to recommend system enhancements.
- Support Recruiting Operations projects by identifying improvement opportunities, managing project timelines, documenting changes, and training recruiters.
Experience and Skills Required:
- Extensive experience in background checks and identity verification processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with strong organizational skills and the ability to connect various pieces of information for a comprehensive understanding of related issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with a focus on scalable solutions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate high levels of integrity.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, deadlines, and workloads.
- Proven ability to manage high volumes of work efficiently and effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office or G Suite, particularly Gmail, Sheets, and Docs.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, with excellent communication skills.
