Key Responsibilities:

• Lives Forbes Bros. value of WE WORK SAFE & never compromising on safety in all aspects of our every day
• Responsible for preforming pre & post trip inspections, roadside repairs, and general clean-up of units
• Drives and operators hydrovac units to complete tasks associated with daylighting, excavation, trenching & shorting
• Rigging in and rigging out of equipment, hoses, fittings, pipes, etc., as per job specification
• Complete all required paperwork daily
• Read and understand drawings & making calculations and adjustments in grades
• Mentor Swamper regarding required assistance to complete job duties
• Perform other tasks related to this function as assigned

Candidate Requirements:

• Class 3 or Class 1 driver’s license & clean drivers abstract required
• Ground Disturbance Level II
• Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS)
• Boring/directional drilling experience an asset
• Understanding of underground utilities is preferred
• Physically fit and able to provide hands on assistance to crew members
• Must be safety orientated
• Flexible in hours worked, travel and working in adverse weather conditions
• Ability to take and execute instructions and duties assigned to you
