We are in search of a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team located in Guelph, Ontario. As an HR Assistant, you will be instrumental in the recruitment process, administrative support to the HR team, and ensuring all new hires are adequately prepared. This short-term contract employment opportunity is situated within the industry.Responsibilities

• Facilitate the recruitment process, including posting job openings and conducting phone screenings.
• Arrange onsite interviews and ensure a smooth hiring process.
• Prepare necessary documentation for new hires and distribute orientation packages.
• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team.
• Monitor the plant floor, requiring steel-toed shoes for safety.
• Engage in recruiting activities, focusing on production staff.
• Maintain excellent customer service, aiding in resolving inquiries and concerns.
• Uphold strong communication practices within the team and with potential candidates.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or relevant field is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Customer Service is essential.
• Ability to conduct Interviews in a detail oriented and efficient manner is key.
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, are mandatory.
• Experience in handling Recruiting Activities, including sourcing and screening candidates, is necessary.
