Job Title: Housekeeper – Urgently Hiring
Pay: $18.50/hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
Start Date: ASAPWe are seeking two Housekeepers—one General Housekeeper and one OR Housekeeper—for a full-time position with our client, a respected hospital facility in Rockport, Maine. The Housekeeper will help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across the healthcare setting. The right candidate will play a critical role in supporting patient care and infection control.As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for:Cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, operating rooms, ER, restrooms, and common areasFollowing strict hygiene protocols to prevent the spread of infectionSafely disposing of medical, pharmaceutical, and general wasteRestocking supplies as neededUsing proper PPE and handling hazardous materials per training and guidelinesResponding promptly to spills, safety issues, and other environmental concernsMaintaining confidentiality and professionalism while working near patientsThe ideal candidate for this role will have:A high school diploma or GED (preferred)Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience (a plus, but not required)
