Situated in the beautiful north of Vancouver region in BC, Canada, I am a private individual hoping to find a hardworking and reliable Housekeeper to assist in maintaining a clean, inviting, and well-organized household. As a family of four, we’re eager to open our home to someone who is committed and has a keen eye for detail. This is a full-time role with a long-term commitment, expected to work for approximately 30 – 40 hours per week. The work schedule will cover mornings, afternoons, and evenings from Monday through to Friday. The Housekeeper’s/Child Caregiver role will entail general cleaning duties such as tidying up the interior of the house and the immediate external areas. Kitchen tasks will range from dishwashing to cleaning the inside and outside of the fridge, cupboards, oven, dishwasher, pantry, counters, and floors. Furthermore, handling the laundry, rotating seasonal clothing in closets, and preparing and serving meals during family events are part and parcel of your everyday duty. Additionally, there are responsibilities outside of cleaning, including grocery shopping, keeping household supplies fully stocked, and taking charge of pantry maintenance, regularly embarking on a clear-out of expired and spoiled items. Even though maintaining household security isn’t a pressing concern, the housekeeper will be expected to oversee this in addition to hiring and supervising other household staff members as required. Given the nature of responsibilities, driving will be a necessary skill, and a car will be provided by the family for work-related use. Preference will be given to someone from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, etc., who is willing to live-in and efficiently manage our household.
