Join us.Job SummaryNow, if you were to come on board as our Hospitality Manager, Executive Dining, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Supervise all hourly and salaried associates, ensuring the hospitality service team consistently delivers exceptional service.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external clients, collaborating on menu development, event planning, and seamless execution. Communicate daily event details to service teams.
- Assign duties to banquet staff and management, oversee service quality, and make real-time adjustments to maintain high standards.
- Customize service delivery to meet clients’ specific needs while upholding confidentiality and professional discretion.
- Work closely with portering, conference catering, and agency teams to coordinate food deliveries and staff deployment based on business requirements.
- Implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to uphold client expectations and ensure consistent service excellence.
- Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of food and beverage associates in alignment with company policies, collective agreements, and business needs. Build a high-performing team through coaching and professional development opportunities.
- Analyze weekly sales and labor costs to optimize staffing levels while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Must demonstrate a willingness and capacity to follow safe and healthful work practices. Observes safety and security procedures in accordance with HSQA; reports all potentially unsafe conditions.

- Secondary School Diploma and a minimum of three years of relevant experience in a hospitality environment.
- Certifications: WHMIS, and Smart Serve Certification.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of dining service standards, with the ability to deliver a premium guest experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage with clients, team members, and stakeholders, ensuring successful event execution.
- Always maintain a polished appearance and a positive demeanor.
- Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions under pressure and navigate unexpected challenges effectively.
