This fast-paced, team-focused, and dynamic position is responsible for coordinating the interviewing and hiring efforts company wide. The Hiring Specialist position is a great entry level position for individuals that are excited to pursue a career in the HR field. CAG does not require any prior HR experience as we are willing to train those who have a strong passion for assisting applicants, employees, and department managers.Job Duties (include but are not limited to):
- Processing applicants by: reviewing applications, communicating with department managers, coordinating and conducting virtual and in-person interviews, submitting driving records and background checks, and completing reference checks
- Ability to review and manage high volumes of applications efficiently within our Applicant Tracking System (in low periods anywhere from >100 applications, in high periods 500+ applications).
- Comfortable professionally communicating with applicants and department managers and maintaining timely responses to emails (approximately 100+ emails daily) and by phone call
- Ability to take on additional projects as needed and multitask with recruiting responsibilities
- Attending career fairs when needed
- Sourcing candidates on Indeed as a team
- Efficiently and effectively fill open positions throughout the company
- Collaborating with management to determine staffing needs based on the needs of that department
- Making recommendations to company hiring managers
- Following up on the interview process status as needed with both applicants and department managers
- Staying current on the company’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
- Discretion and safeguarding of all confidential information
- Traveling between the CAG locations as needed
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements:Must be able to work flexible hoursType 45+ WPMHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredMust have held a valid driver’s license for at least 1 yearMust be at least 18 years of age to be consideredHours:Monday through Friday with flexible hours between 9:00am-8:00pm. * Saturday from 8:00am-2:00pm or 9:00am-3:00pm (once a month).This is a full-time position.Compensation:Starting at $25 an hourCAG is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
