Shelby Communications is hiring Lead Technicians for a LONG TERM, Multi-year contract in the DALLAS area.Field Experience:Telecommunications Background5-6 Years Cabling Experience (Required)3-4 Years Fiber Experience (Required)Knowledge of the equipment and tools used in structured cablingAbility to climb ladders and operate Boom & Scissor liftsAble to Read Blue PrintsAble to interrupt floor plansMUST be able to pass a background checkMUST have Truck or SUV to carry Ladders & MaterialsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Install all cabling standards in ceiling, conduits and raised floors; routes cable within walls and modular furnitureBuild closets (Mount and install backboards, racks, patch panels, fiber optic Build Racks, Punch down closets and neatly dressed with no divers.

Lead Tech Responsibilities:Working with Project Management to schedule/update/complete projectsResponsible for motivating and dictating job duties to all technicians on the jobsiteTrain entry-level technicians, new and current techniciansQC each technician working under them for each assigned jobCertify all cabling once installedAble to PASS BACKGROUND NO FELONIES*** Sign On Bonus**** Quarterly Bonus ******** Mileage Allowance****
