Job Title: Nurse ManagerJob DescriptionThe Nurse Manager manages the nursing unit, ensuring it functions properly and safely on a 24-hour basis. Responsibilities include reviewing medical records for compliance, conducting environmental rounds, and assigning duties to licensed and ancillary personnel. The Nurse Manager ensures timely completion and submission of all unit reports, displays ownership of their unit by supervising on a 24-hour basis, and communicates with staff across all shifts to stay informed of all events. Additionally, the Nurse Manager assesses the need for additional or needed equipment. The shift for this position is 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, with some flexibility required.Hard Skills
- BSN from accredited school of nursing preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 4 years clinical experience
- At least 2 years of management experience, preferably in a geriatric setting
