Job DescriptionWe are looking to hire an energetic floor tech to keep our hospital’s floors clean. The floor tech will be responsible for the maintenance of all floor areas, and for sustaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. We are seeking individuals with strong customer service skills, recent experience, and expertise in floor care.Responsibilities:

• Perform floor maintenance tasks, including cleaning, buffing, and waxing.
• Cleaning offices, hallways, common areas, and other areas.
• Measuring chemicals correctly, operating chemical dispensing units and labeling chemicals correctly.
• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure overall cleanliness.
• Address immediate cleaning needs, spills, and emergencies promptly.
• Manage and maintain floor care equipment.
• Utilize advanced knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols in healthcare environments.
• Uphold safety standards and protocols in all tasks.
• Communicate in a professional and customer-friendly demeanor.

Job RequirementsPhysical Requirements:

• Requires significant walking, standing, bending, and kneeling for 8-hour shifts.
• Requires lifting, pulling and pushing of heavy equipment and carrying heavy loads up to 50 pounds.
• Stamina to handle repetitive and multiple tasks while maintaining focus in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Hiring Essentials:

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Floor Technician.
• Must be able to Navigate hospital facilities and equipment safely.
• Must have a working knowledge of floor cleaning, scrubbing and polishing equipment.
• Must be able to collaborate effectively and professionally in team environments.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have reliable and consistent transportation.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to submit to a Drug Test and Criminal Background Check.
