This role is rooted in the responsible sale of cannabis and requires a well-rounded understanding of cannabis products, consumption methods, and their therapeutic or recreational applications.Support Staff are expected to guide both medical and adult-use customers through a highly regulated purchasing process while offering personalized product recommendations. They must uphold all Maryland Cannabis Administration (MCA) guidelines and company protocols while creating a positive, educational, and professional experience for every guest. This position is cross-trained in budtending, reception, and inventory, and is essential to maintaining dispensary flow and operational excellence.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Greet customers warmly, assist with queue placement, and create a positive, engaging first impression.Answer customer questions with confidence and clarity regarding product strains, effects, medicinal uses, and methods of consumption.Demonstrate expert knowledge of products carried in-store and maintain awareness of new developments in cannabis.Maintain compliance with all Maryland Cannabis Administration (MCA) regulations and internal company policies.Perform daily assigned duties including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a professional environment throughout the dispensary.Follow assigned break and lunch schedules in accordance with management direction.Execute responsibilities across multiple dispensary functions, including front desk, budtending, and inventory.Follow all state and company-mandated transaction procedures, including MVP steps, Scan-Tag-Bag processes, and proper cash handling.Operate the Dutchie Point of Sale (POS) system accurately, applying proper discounts and verifying pricing.Confirm customer eligibility and ID validity to ensure full legal compliance during every transaction.Provide tailored recommendations by actively listening to customer needs and preferences.Exhibit urgency and efficiency during high-traffic periods without sacrificing customer service quality.Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to an orderly, safe sales floor.Complete assigned opening and closing tasks in a timely and thorough manner.Take ownership of each transaction, resolve issues as they arise, and communicate mistakes with professionalism.Collaborate with coworkers and management to ensure smooth store operations and uphold team standards.Stay open to coaching and actively implement feedback to continuously improve performance.Support supervisors and managers by executing additional delegated tasks as needed.Respect the internal chain of command and communicate challenges appropriately through proper channels.SALES SUPERVISOR – JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Sales Supervisor plays a key role in assisting with the day-to-day operations of the retail dispensary while providing support to the management team. During each shift, the Sales Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and monitoring sales floor staff, performing administrative cash handling, upholding company policies, and ensuring the customer experience meets company standards. Supervisors are also responsible for training new hires and reporting trainee progress to leadership. This is a highly task-driven role that requires excellent organization, strong attention to detail, and a sense of urgency. The Sales Supervisor must be flexible, frequently shifting between assisting employees with operational tasks (applying discounts, handling change, helping cover breaks) and stepping directly into roles as needed to maintain the flow and productivity of the sales floor.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Train new employees on the company’s customer service standards, policies, and best practices.Create daily lunch and break schedules and ensure they are followed.Delegate responsibilities to front-of-house staff and provide continuous support throughout the shift.Manage the flow of the store during their shift and step into any position as necessary to maintain operational efficiency.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Assist with the proper and thorough training of all employees to uphold dispensary standards and ensure operational consistency.Monitor and enforce company transaction standards and operational procedures, including MVP steps, Scan-Tag-Bag protocols, cash handling procedures, and compliance with discount and ID verification processes.Ensure all employees strictly adhere to SS Staffing, LLC (Jenny’s Dispensary) policies and procedures.Take initiative to observe and correct compliance issues to ensure adherence to all applicable state cannabis regulations.Provide clear, consistent communication with team members, Lead Supervisors, Store Manager, Inventory Supervisors, and corporate staff.Ensure every customer receives excellent service and care while visiting the facility.Assist with transactions and POS operations as needed, including applying discounts, processing returns and voids, retrieving change, and closing registers.Exhibit strong leadership by setting a positive example in customer service, compliance, and teamwork.Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall store performance and operational excellence.INVENTORY SUPERVISOR – JOB DESCRIPTIONAt SS Staffing, LLC (Jenny’s Dispensary), the Inventory Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations of the inventory department and assisting the Lead Inventory Supervisor. This role requires a strong understanding of inventory control systems, Arizona cannabis regulations, and operational procedures. The Inventory Supervisor must lead by example, uphold company policies and SOPs, and ensure that inventory is managed accurately and compliantly. Key traits for success in this role include consistency, dedication, attention to detail, and strong leadership skills. The Inventory Supervisor is expected to operate with the same level of accountability and standards as the Inventory Lead, ensuring that expectations are met and team performance remains high.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist with oversight of all inventory-related operations at your assigned Maryland dispensary location, maintaining accurate records and ensuring full compliance with company SOPs and MCA regulations.Enforce disciplinary standards consistently and fairly across the inventory team.Support the complete training and continued development of all inventory employees.Uphold merchandising and display standards to maintain a clean, organized, and professional sales environment.Provide timely, clear communication to support staff, fellow supervisors, store management, and corporate leadership.Set the tone for compliance, professionalism, and accountability through consistent leadership and follow-through.Delegate tasks with clarity and ensure follow-up for timely and accurate completion.Participate in team meetings, goal-setting sessions, and performance reviews alongside inventory leadership.Submit weekly reports to the Lead Inventory Supervisor outlining team updates, compliance notes, operational needs, and performance feedback.Nominate and help coordinate recognition programs (e.g., “Rockstar of the Week”) for inventory team members.Track individual employee progress and identify any training gaps or coaching opportunities.Review waste logs regularly to ensure they are up-to-date and compliant.Complete internal compliance checklists each month in preparation for routine or random inspections by the Maryland Cannabis Administration.Assist with End-of-Month (EOM) audits and inventory reconciliation efforts.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Conduct walkthroughs of the sales floor and inventory areas at both the beginning and midpoint of your shift.Record findings in the system and use the department task board to assign and track completion of tasks.Process and intake any carryover invoices and properly assign incoming product to designated storage or staging areas.Prepare for upcoming promotions by verifying inventory levels, stocking appropriately, and ensuring accurate product placement.Monitor and confirm that cleaning and closing procedures are consistently followed by the team.Perform daily compliance checks based on Maryland cannabis regulations and company SOPs.Collaborate with the inventory team to maintain flow, reduce errors, and meet daily operational goals.Follow up with employees on delegated responsibilities and hold them accountable for timely and accurate execution.The duties and responsibilities described above are not a comprehensive list and may be subject to change at any time.
