My client, a large Powered Access hire company who have been established over 25 years are now looking for a Hire Controller to join their ever growing team.Job Summary:
As a Hire Manager, you will be the crucial link between our clients, the engineering team, and the transport department. Your role ensures that the right equipment is available and delivered to customer sites on time, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.The role of Hire Manager in brief:
- Customer Enquiries: Handle hire enquiries via telephone, email, and online ordering system.
- Machine Availability: Monitor and update machine availability statuses in the system.
- Coordination: Work closely with engineering and transport teams to ensure timely preparation and delivery of equipment.
- Communication: Serve as a friendly and helpful point of contact for depot enquiries, ensuring effective communication with colleagues and customers.
The ideal candidate for Hire Manager will have:
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in Plant, Powered Access, Tool, Lifting Equipment or Material Handling industries.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
