This is a fantastic business to consider career opportunities with, no matter how you look at it.ABOUT THE ROLEMy client is looking for a motivated individual with experience in plant and tools hire.As the Hire Desk Controller, you will have responsibility for:

  • Receiving orders from sites and organising plant & tools for these orders from existing stock at the plant yard or on other sites where it is not needed, or through external suppliers.
  • Inputting the relevant information onto the IT system to make sure all plant and tools going out to or coming back from sites is tracked and accounted for.
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of the company’s equipment to help support the needs of your role.
  • Supporting the management team with the ultimate goal of increasing productivity while reducing waste.

REQUIREMENTSTo be successful I am looking for someone with at least 2-3 years work experience in the plant hire sector, whether that be while working for a supplier or a rival construction contractor in a similar role.Due to the nature of this role, it is also crucial you are a good communicated, computer literate and able to organise efficiently. You’ll need to have the ability to prioritise work load and work to tight deadlines, with good administration and time management.REWARDS AND BENEFITSFor this opportunity, I am targeting someone looking to earn between £25,000 to £35,000 per annum. This bracket is flexible and starting figures will be based on experience and previous work history but in addition to this our client is offering a benefits package including pension and an annual bonus scheme.If you would prefer a self-employed payment method, we can consider people on a limited company or similar basis with pay rates negotiated to reach a similar annual amount.But aside from the earning potential, this opportunity really does offer the right individual exciting career options with a fantastic organisation.
