· Responding to hire and sales enquiries
· Making sure the right equipment is in the right place at the right time
· Ensuring all off hire and equipment returns are properly administered
· Liaising with our customers over the phone and via email, to make sure the receive the very best experienceYou’ll also support our Sales team with contract administration, sales order processing and more.PERSON SPECIFICATION: Hire Desk Controller, Customer Service Administrator – Plant Hire, Construction Equipment, Access Hire, Equipment Hire, Tool HireThis is a busy role and we need you to jump right in, so you’ll have worked in a hire desk team before, and that could be in:
· Plant, tool, powered access, lifting, crane.
· Welfare, generators, forklifts.
· HGV, agricultural equipment, attachments or equipment hire.But, you might have worked on Trade Desks / Hire Desks within Builders Merchants, Timber or Plumbing Merchants.Whatever your background you’ll:
· Have excellent communication abilities, able to work with all types of personalities.
· Enjoy working under pressure and to tight deadlines
· Be highly organised, with superb attentional to detail strong IT skills.
· Be happy to take ownership of projects and tasks.
