Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)

We’re looking for a proactive and organised Hire Desk Controller to join our clients dynamic team and help them maintain their high standards of service.About the Role:
As a Hire Desk Controller, you will play a vital role in managing customer hire enquiries, processing orders, coordinating equipment availability, and overseeing timely delivery and collection. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, so a professional yet friendly approach is essential.Key Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming customer enquiries, offering advice on the best equipment for their needs.
• Process and confirm hire orders with accuracy and efficiency.
• Work closely with the operations team to schedule deliveries and collections, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
• Maintain detailed records of hires, including stock levels and equipment status.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure prompt and reliable service.
• Address customer queries, resolve any issues or complaints, and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Assist with administrative duties such as invoicing and stock control.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a hire desk or customer service role is an advantage, but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of hire operations and equipment is beneficial.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and hire desk software (preferred).
• A proactive, can-do attitude with a keen eye for detail.
