Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are offering a flexible temporary opportunity for experienced HGV Class 1 Car Transporter Driver with our client in Poole.As part of this role, you will be required to complete deliveries of vehicles in a HGV 1 Car Transporter. You must have at least 6 months experience of working in a car transporter role. and be familiar with loading and unloading cars.Position: HGV Class 1 Car TransporterDays: Monday-Friday (flexible)Start time: 07:00 AMStart date: 29th DecemberLocation: PoolePay Rate: £15.97-17.09 (basic) – £18.21-19.61 (nights) – £20.17-20.73(weekends). Quoted rate is for PAYE advance holiday pay.As a HGV Driver you MUST have:

• a valid UK Class 1 HGV driving licence
• a valid CPC and digital tachograph card
• a minimum of 6 months of recent commercial car transporter experience
• your own transport to get to and from work
• no more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN codes)

As a HGV Driver you will be responsible for:

• Safely operating HGVs to transport cars to various locations
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and customers
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
