Delaware North UK is hiring a casual Head Waiter at Emirates Stadium in London. As a Head Waiter, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service are always met alongside assisting and training waiters and other team members.This role is offered on a casual worker agreement basis with most events taking place at weekends and/or in the evening.

• Assist and supervise team members to ensure the highest serving standards are upheld
• Capable of effectively managing a section of around 4-6 tables
• Able to effectively communicate with both guests and colleagues
• Will be responsible for guiding guests from the beginning to the end of their dining experience
• Able to speak with confidence on food and wine and proficient in understanding complex menus
• Must possess a keen eye for detail
• Assist with the training and leading of team members
• Ability to learn on the job and adapt to an ever-changing environment
• To ensure all colleagues, guests and clients receive excellent customer service
• Availability on weekends and evenings
• Assist in welcoming and seating of guests when required
• Must be comfortable serving and handling alcohol and pork products

• 2-3 years’ experience in a Senior or Head Waiter role.
• High level of knowledge of wine, spirits and food essential.
• Comfortable dealing with a fast-paced environment and at ease with serving VIP’s
• Previous experience within a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel setting is essential
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
