It’s an opportunity to be part of something special.About the roleThe Head of Planning & Orchestration within the Business Enterprise Applications and Technology (BEAT) team, which is part of the Digital and Tech CTO organization, will work closely with teams across Digital and Tech to define, implement and optimize ways of working for BEAT, in line with the priorities and demand from business teams across all Haleon. You will endeavor to use a range of skills to solve business problems across all value streams within Haleon and help to maximize value for money over the lifecycle of the BEAT portfolio in the Haleon enterprise landscape. You will partner with other Tech Product & Service teams, third party vendors and service providers to ensure proper support for and ensure standardisation, reusability, continuous improvement and compliance.The Head of Planning & Orchestration will be accountable for cross-functional planning, delivery and cost performance, management of Enterprise Risk, Compliance and Controls across all BEAT services.They will have direct responsibility to develop and contribute to CTO strategy in alignment with Digital &Tech as well as CTO’s strategic objectives and priorities. They will have extensive global senior stakeholder management across peer leaders, direct and regular CTO engagement/influence. They will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, process optimisation, and ensuring the seamless execution of operations across BEAT.This pivotal role will be a part of our BEAT team, reporting directly to the Head of BEAT.Key responsibilitiesResponsible for managing the entire BEAT operating & project budgets (£100m). Ensuring accurate forecasting and budget management. Responsible for managing communications/submissions into Finance. Responsible for cross-charging processes for BEAT with wider adoption across CTO.Responsible for designing, establishing, and running the BEAT level operational governance framework and processes. Required to provide oversight of operational performance and challenges, inc. SLA, KPI & CERRS Framework with 3rd Party Vendors.Accountable for leadership of first line of defence of risk, control, and compliance challenges for BEAT. Relationship management and escalation for all second and third line of defence engagements for BEAT. Operating model and roles and responsibilities between CTO, GRC, DTIS and Audit – internal and external.Accountable for BEAT portfolio demand management, investment prioritization and value delivery. Including one-time programmes like Separation / SOX remediation work as well as BAU ABR and Business funded change.Accountable for BEAT Technical Integrity, inc. Technical Debt Reduction, Contract & Licence Management, Tech Refresh activities and Technology Roadmap applications across the BEAT Landscape.Attract and develop a world class team in a high-performance culture and help create an environment that inspires continuous improvement and one that motivates others to achieve excellence. Implement succession planning initiatives to ensure leadership continuity as well as Organisational Design, Operating Model design.
