The energy behind the brand is infectious, and as we grow, we are always looking for extraordinary talent who want to be part of this our success and help drive our limitless ambitions.About the role:We are looking for a exceptional Head of Marketing who is ready to take on a fast-paced, creative and strategic role, managing a large and talented team executing across Southern Europe Markets to include: France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Czech Republic, Poland and Greece.Your role will be responsible for the development and execution of the Europe South marketing strategy across retail and e-commerce, working closely with our Retail Partners to deliver consistent, distinctive and revolutionary messages to our clients and customers. Your focus will be to develop the yearly marketing strategy, marketing calendars and activations per retailer, including NPD, in markets. You will be responsible to lead, manage and inspire a large team to execute 360 consumer marketing activations, drive surprise and delight moments which heighten engagement, increase loyalty and drive sales.Please note, this role is a 14 month parental leave contract. This role will be based in our London Head Office, we work a hybrid model with 3 days in the office and 2 days can be WFH.As a Head of Marketing, you will;
- As a highly experienced regional marketing expert with local knowledge, you will be the owner of the brand, marketing, media planning & customer experience metrics.
- Your role will be centred around supercharging the region, developing & creating legacy brand moments, while taking care in differentiating marketing calendars across Sephora and Department Stores.
- In collaboration with PR, VM, Commercial, Retailer + .com & Retail, build exceptional 360 off and online marketing & media plans shaped around maximising the customer purchase funnel to hit and exceed our commercial objectives.
- Identifying key levers for a flawless customer journey & online takeover (including ATL media, media/influencer partnerships, digital firsts, digital retailer activation, off & online pop ups, online services & virtual eventing.
- Bring thought-leadership and digital excellence to innovative and disruptive brand activity across the region to raise total brand awareness & create memorable brand moments; challenging the status quo by identifying best practices across the industry and opportunities to increase Charlotte Tilbury share of voice and ranking in existing retailers, with a strong lens on driving the best omnichannel customer experience.
- Work with local partners (existing & new) to identify partnership opportunities and experiential activations to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition.
- Lead clear processes within the EMEA team, with retailers and with global partners to ensure a ‘world class’ delivery is achieved across the region, particularly focusing on cross functional & regional collaboration.
- Be the advocate of Europe South consumer trends creative, and general marketing needs with our Global Marketing partners to ensure regional nuances are considered in global campaign planning.
- Lead The Planning and Launch Of New Retailers & Market Launch, alongside budget and process management.
- Oversee the delivery of the key priorities of your team, providing guidance, support and regular feedback. Set realistic and achievable objectives and hold regular 121s and team meetings.
Who you will work with:
- You will report directly to our wonderful Director of Marketing – Southern Europe.
- Overall, you will inspire, coach and lead a team of 8 fantastic individuals, including 3 direct reports.
- You will closely collaborate with your counterpart, the Head of Marketing Northern Europe. As well as the Head of PR, Head of VM/Store Design, Commercial and Reops teams across Southern Europe and our wider EMEA team.
About you:
- You have demonstrable Marketing experience gained within beauty or retail, at a similar level.
- Experienced in devising and implementing strategic plans, with creative flair.
- You have strong experience leading a team, you enjoy leading from the front and are all about your team! You inspire, coach and an open and authentic leader, who communicates clearly.
- An excellent communicator: confident and comfortable presenting, able to influence and effectively articulate your point of view. You have exceptional organisational skills and can manage multiple stakeholders with ease!
- You thrive working to pace, you are able to ruthlessly prioritise and can manage multiple deadlines at anyone time with ease.
- Experience of budget and P&L management, you show great attention to detail and are results-driven!
- Demonstrable experience & knowledge in planning and buying media, as well as strong digital and online marketing skills.
- Please note, you need to be comfortable to travel across EU as and when required.
- It is advantageous if you speak French/Italian/Spanish/Turkish/Portuguese, this is not essential but would be huge bonus!
