Are you ready to join the Fearless?Job DescriptionThis unique and exciting role is to be part of an established yet fast growing business. There will be a focus on FLANNELS as it pivots further into luxury and contemporary fashion following its rapid growth across the sector, as well as FRASERS, building on the already established business as we look to expand with new stores and categories.There will also be the opportunity to oversee the re-launch of 18montrose, our Lifestyle offering within our portfolio, as well as to work on any other fascias that might fall under the Luxury and Premium sectors.
This opportunity would suit an entrepreneurial marketeer looking to develop their marketing skills in a fast-paced, agile culture. At Frasers Group you will lead, have autonomy and make a personal difference from the day you step into the business.Working alongside the wider Senior team, this opportunity is for a fearless leader to drive the Luxury, Premium and Beauty categories. You will have the scope to drive marketing campaigns, devise strategies as to how brands show up across our touchpoints using your marketing and industry expertise and with that in mind, create and implement exciting offline & online marketing plans that speak to our ever-evolving consumer base.
You will be the brand guardian for our fascias, and your work will inspire the wider marketing and commercial teams.As part of this role, you will be the key marketing contact for our brand partners across the group, working with them to create commercially successful marketing campaigns which meet both ours and the brand’s objectives. You will lead supplier funding negotiations and measure the success of all campaigns based on pre-agreed commercial and marketing KPIs, implementing learnings for future campaigns to ensure the business is always developing.Key responsibilities:
– Drive the Marketing strategy and strategic objectives for the Premium, Luxury & Beauty divisions to drive brand and commercial growth. Luxury & Premium divisions also include the Lifestyle, Junior and Home categories, alongside Fashion.
– Oversee core and brand marketing functions across the fascia and category teams.
– Lead on relationships with partner brand marketing teams, establishing partnerships with peers at each brand.
– Attend seasonal sell-in meetings with brand partners to align on priorities and product buys for the season/s ahead. Create joint business plans as required to ensure agreed objectives and growth are achieved.
– Oversee all campaign briefs to ensure business and brand objectives are translated into compelling creative campaigns, elevating the brands through strategic storytelling.
– Manage the execution of integrated campaigns across all channel touchpoints including retail, digital, social & PR channels.
– Oversee the seasonal marketing calendar and manage teams to deliver effective campaigns across their respective fascias and categories.
– Own and optimise the marketing budget to ensure maximum ROI and brand impact.
– Oversee and manage investment generation, ensuring annual targets are hit.
– Use data and analytics to review and report on performance. Ensure all campaigns are delivered in a timely manner, on budget and that all key learnings are shared post with key stakeholders both internally and, where relevant, externally. Ensure learnings are carried forward into future campaign planning.
– Partner with key channel functions across but not limited to Commercial, PR/Comms, Digital, Retail, Social, Retail Media, Membership etc to ensure alignment and seamless/consistent implementation of key marketing campaigns and messaging. Establish and maintain solid ways of working collaboratively.
– Manage the established team of seven direct reports to ensure high performance against departmental strategic priorities. Ensure development and guidance as required for each team member.
– Ensure key updates are shared regularly with the Senior Leadership team, including previous campaign results and upcoming campaign activity to ensure visibility and buy in.
– As we grow, there may be the requirement to work across other fascias within the business, including the likes of (but not limited to) Gieves and Hawkes and 18montrose.Qualifications– Extensive marketing experience gained within the fashion and/or retail sector in senior marketing roles (8+ years). Solid leadership experience is essential.
– To be a natural leader with the ability to inspire and to always bring the team with you.
– A degree is preferable but not essential. We are looking for solid experience in the industry and experience creating and implementing strategic plans with creative flair.
– A deep understanding of the UK consumer and market.
– To hold strong relationships with brands across the industry.
– Experience managing marketing budgets, as well as raising brand investment and income.
– Excellent retail & digital marketing knowledge and experience working cross-functionally.
– Creative instincts with a commercial mindset.
– Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
– Flexibility and enthusiasm, with the ability to work under pressure and sometimes to tight timelines, always maintaining a professional attitude.
– Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills, showing remarkable attention to detail whilst also being results-driven.
– Excellent English written and verbal skills.
– To be open to travel (where required).
– Valid working rights for the UK.
