In the role of Head of International Sales, the successful candidate will build, and manage the international sales division. This integral position requires a forward-thinking individual with a proven track record in sales leadership and a deep understanding of international retail markets.As Head of International Sales, you will report directly into the Managing Director and take full responsibility for the international sales division. They are looking to hire an expert, who can advise the business on what they need to do and invest in order to support the growth of this area.You will be building this from scratch, with the backing of the business, with a view to hiring a team after 12 months to help further the growth.The main focus will be Europe and the Middle East, with a mix of direct to retail selling, using 3rd party agents and distributors. It will be your job to decide what is best for each market and choose the appropriate partners.Head of International Sales with manufacturer of non-food FMCG products|New role due to growthWe are looking for the following experience:
- Proven track record delivering growth across Europe and/or Middle East
- Experience in a product manufacturer
- Dealt with a mix of agents, distributors and selling directly to retail
- North/Midlands based – the office is North West and especially in your first few months you will be in the office to learn the category/product mix
The business are an up and coming challenger brand that have become a huge disrupter in their respective category over the last 5 years. They have seen incredible growth (growing from £4m to £29m in 5 years) through investing heavily into their products, their team and hiring expert leaders to gain traction in new routes to market.Having recently hired a Head of Compliance to help them launch their products into retail, they are looking to go global with a specific focus on Europe and the Middle East. As such, they are now recruiting a Head of International Sales.Up to £75,000 + car, bonus/commission + package
