• Provide motivational and innovative leadership and guidance to the concessions team, as well as supporting their onboarding, training, and development to manage performance and drive a culture of high performance, prioritising guest service excellence
• Collaborate with the concessions, culinary, logistics, and wider operational teams to ensure effective event-day operations, ensuring successful information flow
• Create innovative menu ideas to diversify our offerings and source local suppliers
• Provide statistical profit and loss analysis for assigned events, as well as manage operating costs, adhering to forecasted targets relating to labour planning, stock-to-cash analysis, and food and beverage cost lines to support future planning and improve performance
• Conduct operational reviews to improve guest experience and business performance
• Ensure the operation complies with current health and safety, food hygiene, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standards, maintaining Delaware North’s policies and standards of excellence

More about you

• Degree in a related field, or 5+ years’ experience, including 1+ years’ of managerial experience
• Experience managing, guiding, and leading large teams within a high-volume, fast-paced retail catering sales environment
• Working with technology platforms within an operational environment is beneficial
• Keen interest in food and beverage trends, and a history of delivering retail catering sales of £150k+ per week is beneficial
