Innovation, creativity, and collaboration drive the company to offer exceptional services to clients.Location : The Group Finance team is primarily based at our Richmond, London office and typically works onsite two days per week, with Monday established as our anchor day.About the roleJoin our collaborative head-office finance team, where you’ll play a key role in delivering timely, accurate, and policy-compliant internal and external financial reporting. You’ll support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly results consolidation—focusing on functional costs—for RX executive leadership. You’ll also provide clear, actionable financial insights and analysis to stakeholders across RX and its parent company, including financial planning and analysis, group reporting, investor relations, real estate, and insurance teams. This role is a key point of contact for regular and ad-hoc financial data requests from teams such as finance, legal, human resources, and sustainability. Your responsibilities will include contributing to a strong control environment, supporting compliance with internal controls over financial reporting, and working with external auditors.Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review group financial results, forecasts, and budgets for internal and external reporting.
  • Ensure accuracy and reconciliation of financial data across systems (RX and RELX).
  • Deliver timely and reliable financial reports and insights to stakeholders.
  • Maintain documentation to support compliance with internal controls (e.g., SOX).
  • Design tools and templates to support financial analysis and decision-making.
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc performance analysis focused on key financial drivers.
  • Maintain and improve financial system reports and master data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with system support teams to ensure tools meet user needs.

Requirements

  • Professionally qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; PowerPoint familiarity is a plus.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and apply IFRS or equivalent standards.
  • Skilled in identifying trends and delivering actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems and data structures.
  • Proactive, accountable, and committed to high-quality, timely work.
  • Effective collaborator with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working independently and contributing to team success.
