How do you challenge the way it’s always been done?How do you support designers and teams to ship work they’re truly proud of?These are just a few of the challenges a Group Content Design Lead will get to work on as part of Wise’s global mission to build an open, fair, and human financial system.Your mission:You’ll be leading designers of all crafts, working across the cross-functional teams that make up Account – a squad that helps millions of people manage their international money all in one place.How you’ll be contributing:Collaborating with your design, product and engineering partners to lead the squad, set the vision and strategy, and coach teams to deliver itWorking on the highest impact projects in the squad, and setting the direction for upcoming workPlanning and prioritising the work and hiring and onboarding new designers as neededWorking with design leaders from other squads to build a single, seamless experience for customersUsing your design leadership skills to up-level quality, maturity and alignment across the Account squadYou’ll have the opportunity to:Support and grow a talented design teamGuide teams to deliver impact and ship work you’re proud ofBe hands on, leading through the work and setting the barElevate product and design quality – you define what good looks like in the squad, then help them deliver itBe part of a positive change in the world. We’re fixing a broken, greedy system, and putting people and businesses in control of their money.About you:You’re an accomplished content design leader with several years experience leading teams to ship world-class consumer productsYou’re a trusted partner, building effective relationships with your peers across the businessYou’re comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity – and can successfully lead groups in this environmentYou have an eye for quality, and know how to support designers and teams to deliver itYou’re influential and inspiring, able to lead others in a culture that values autonomy and empowermentYou’re highly empathetic, both to customers and the people you work withAdditional InformationFor everyone, everywhere.
