This position is for a September 2025 start.About the RoleFIS is looking for a graduate Software Developer to join our FIS Security Finance Trading Manager product based in the City of London. In this role, you will be responsible for coding solutions for our clients, some of the largest banks in the world. You will be working with an experienced multi-disciplined team to meet the clients’ requirements.About The TeamJoin a team of developers and product analysts who combine to produce an industry leading trading floor product that handles all aspects of securities finance and related businesses. Take part in the whole life cycle of the product development ranging from gathering requirements through coding and testing to delivery. Innovate and collaborate to improve the processes and product through solutions such as AI.What You Will Be Doing
- Working in an Agile team structure to produce solutions for our clients
- Collaborating with a global team to meet deadlines and produce consistently high-quality work
- Analyzing functional and technical requirements
- Using your coding skills to implement the changes required
- Helping to write code driven test packages
- Bringing ideas and innovation to improve processes and the product
- Attending training sessions to build on professional skills
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study (for example: computer science, mathematics)
- A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Highly organised, with attention to detail and an ability to multi-task
- Pro-active – willing to ask questions and put forward ideas
- Ability to build a network and comfortable interacting with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Proven teamwork skills combined with the desire and flexibility to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Some programming experience in C++, Java or Python
- A keen interest in financial technology – including payments technology and products, with a passion for building further knowledge in this area!
