This is a unique and exciting opportunity for a creative and curious self-starter to make a significant business impact through the engagement of one of our most important audiences – GSK people. In this critical role on the Global Internal Engagement Campaigns team, you will develop, coordinate and deliver creative campaigns, global internal communications and experiences designed to bring to life our Ahead Together story and build confidence and a powerful sense of connection to GSK’s Ahead Together purpose, strategy and culture among the company’s ~70k people worldwide. The role will work closely with GSK/CGA senior leadership and colleagues around the world, as well as business leaders and stakeholders so that internal campaigns are seamlessly integrated and aligned with broader CGA plans, while addressing the unique perspectives and needs of different internal audiences with real impact across GSK channels and through live events and activations. You should be a creative and strategic thinker with proven business acumen, exceptional storytelling, interpersonal and organisational skills, as well as an ability to lead others and direct agencies, working at pace and with agility across multiple priorities.Key ResponsibilitiesGlobal Internal Campaigns – Content and Creative

  • In line with our 2025 global internal engagement (GIE) priorities, shape the creative development and execution of innovation, employer brand and culture storytelling campaigns to deepen understanding, build confidence and connection with our Ahead Together strategy, and GSK as a great place to work.
  • Build understanding of our audience needs and collaborate with comms colleagues across the business, so that our content, assets and activations will resonate with and reach very different internal audiences in all areas of the business all over the world.
  • Demonstrate competitive ROI for global campaigns and, with the expertise of our data and insights team, ensure global content and plans are always rooted in insights and build on learnings.
  • Collaborate with VI/Brand Team to find new ways for our comms to positively push the boundaries of our brand and cut through to our audiences in ways that are fresh, modern and relevant.
  • Manage external agency partners to ensure campaign materials are delivered per plan and on budget.

Employee advocacy – Mobilisation

  • Mobilise our internal social influencer network (Social Catalysts) and GIE community to share and engage with content that raises awareness of GSK as a top employer on external social channels.
  • In partnership with CGA, Legal/Compliance and HR, lead work to ensure GSK people understand and are increasingly confident to communicate within our social media guidelines.
  • Mobilise comms colleagues across the business to share user generated content on our internal We Are GSK group on Workvivo, to support and build meaningful connections for their people with global campaigns and important company news flow.

Global Internal News Flow – Global internal comms therapeutic area lead

  • Play an active role in Oncology therapeutic area global internal editorial planning, ensuring a joined-up, proactive and patient-centred storytelling approach, working with CGA subject matter experts (SMEs) and the digital editorial team.

Leadership

  • Line manage and support the development of our Industrial Placement (IP) student and serve as a mentor to members of our GIE team.
  • The GIE operates an agency model. Lead and supervise the work of agency team colleagues on global campaigns throughout the year.

  • Proven success developing and delivering high-impact, internal engagement, marketing campaigns and employee advocacy initiatives to meet the needs of different internal audiences.
  • Creative storyteller, with experience building and delivering compelling content across a variety of communications mediums and channels (e.g. films, podcasts, online/offline platforms, etc.)
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven business acumen and ability to confidently navigate product and pipeline content (including the science) to create relatable, patient-centred comms which are anchored in GSK strategy
  • Strong organisational, influencing and interpersonal skills, with ability to get things done in a highly matrixed organisation, with an enterprise mindset
  • Experience managing people, agencies and agency budgets
  • Degree or equivalent qualification or experience
