You must have a strong record of international teamwork with sales teams, focusing on customer qualification, design-led engagements, business case development, and executive presentations.Critical to success is significant experience in consulting with clients operating domestically and internationally to achieve workspace transformation, recognizing the value of a well-designed workspace.What you will be doing:
- Develop and maintain business relationships at the customer’s headquarters/executive level, both domestically and internationally.
- Provide leadership and coordination (directly and/or indirectly) to locally focused sales teams in multiple countries.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the organization’s business; contract execution; account and brand forecasting.
- Gather detailed account information, identify decision makers, understand strategic business challenges and priorities, and take the lead in analyzing information and prioritizing opportunities critical to the accounts.
- Ensure professional sales coordination, account planning, and sales activity forecasting and reporting
- Communicate engagement status to multiple stakeholders
- Develop and maintain key relationships to collaborate effectively with multiple influencers and decision makers (A&D, Real Estate, Contractors, Service Providers, Consultants and more)
- Become the Key Account Manager for various designated customers in EMEA and act as a relay for customer activities in the Americas, APAC and Row, while maintaining a focus on results. Acquire projects and orders within your designated key accounts.
- Negotiate framework agreements with clients on a global or regional level.
- Travel, both to customer sites and to other Steelcase offices across EMEA will be part of this role.

- Bachelor’s Degree Certificate Qualification
- Outstanding selling ability with capability of managing multi-national/ global accounts
- Self-starter committed to excellence with outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Strong business acumen and understanding of critical workplace issues and mastery of ability to discuss these at multiple levels including C-suite
- Knowledge of the processes / key issues that are common to all businesses.
- Extensive project management leadership skills for coordination of large projects using a multi-disciplined team approach
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain key relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to think strategically and develop sound implementation plans across locations and functions.
- Able to operate from broad objectives with minimal direct supervision and willing to accept responsibility for results.
- Strong personal “soft” skills such as empathy, listening, mirroring, and communicating in different methods dependent on individual preferences.
- Fluent in English.
- Minimum 5-10 years proven sales record

- International experience is beneficial (working or studying).
- One other international language would be an advantage
