Position: General Operator with Maintenance Experience
Location: Dudley, UK
Salary: £11.96 per hour
Overtime: Paid at time and a half after 40 hours
Shift Times:

• Monday to Thursday: 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 6:00 AM – 3:45 PM
• Optional Overtime: Saturday 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM

About the Role:We are seeking a motivated and skilled General Operator with maintenance experience to join our client’s team in Dudley. As a member of our metal recycling company, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring efficiency and reliability. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of £11.96 and the opportunity for overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours. The ideal candidate will have mechanical knowledge and be ready to contribute to our dynamic work environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general operational duties efficiently and effectively.
• Utilise mechanical knowledge to support maintenance tasks and troubleshoot equipment.
• Adhere to safety standards and protocols.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Contribute to the metal recycling process, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a general operator role with a maintenance background.
• Mechanical knowledge and skills.
• Experience in the metal recycling industry is a plus.
• Ability to work the specified shift times.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
• Willingness to undergo a drug test as part of the hiring process.
