Job Description:Hi Vis Hire, Specialist Recruiters for the Hire industry currently has a fantastic, newly created opportunity for a General Manager to join an Independent Welfare Hire company to manage and grow their business across the UK with a particular focus on Scotland. Your role will be to manage their depot in the central belt, with day to day responsibility for 40+ staff across sales, transport, hiredesk operations and the yard.The General Manager will build strong relationships at all levels, both internally and externally, developing a cohesive team who are all striving towards the same goals.Alongside managing margin expectations, minimising debt risk and increasing fleet utilisation, you will be encouraged to develop original strategies, ideas and solutions to take the business to the next level.Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A proven track record within an Operations role in the Hire industry
  • Good knowledge of the welfare sector in the UK, competitor activity, new projects etc.
  • Strong relationship building abilities, with the ability to build strong teams to deliver revenue targets for the business
