Whether in the areas of mobility solutions, consumer goods, industrial technology or energy and building technology – with us, you will have the chance to improve quality of life all across the globe.Welcome to Bosch.Job DescriptionThe Foreign Trade Operations Department at Robert Bosch Ltd based in Denham, has a fantastic opportunity for an undergraduate student with a keen interest in Foreign Trade, Customs Processes and Data Analysis to undertake a 12-month placement.As an Intern in this department, you will have an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience working for a highly reputable global company where you can develop your personal and professional skills.You will be actively supporting the operations team in areas such as:
- Carrying our procedural mapping and documentation
- Carrying out Invoice Verification with our brokers and driving process improvements
- Supporting the Internal Control process ensuring compliance
You will support the team development of utilising various tools e.g. PowerBI, to bring greater transparency to our processes and results:
- Making sure the MSS data is up to date and provide our internal customers with the relevant KPI’s in a user friendly format
- Preparation of Trader Support Service data for shipments to Ireland utilising automation tools.
- Assistance in preparation for and attendance at audits (internal, external, broker).
- Develop and maintain an internal Bosch Intranet page to provide up-to-date information to the UK Businesses
Qualifications
- Studying for an undergraduate degree and required to take a placement as part of your course.
- Studying for an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline e.g. Logistics, Supply Chain, Customs or Business
- Excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
- Good knowledge and understanding with Data Analysis tools e.g. Power BI
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a time-pressured environment
- Good knowledge of systems (e.g. SAP)
Additional InformationThis is a 12-month internship beginning in June 2025. This position is open to undergraduate students who are required to partake in a work placement as part of their course.Benefits:

Location: you will be based at the Denham officeShortlisted candidates will then be invited to participate in a face-to-face interview by the hiring team and/or an online assessment centre.You must have the right to live and work in the UK when you start your placement and for the full duration of your placement. Please note your placement must be directly relevant to your course to comply with visa requirements.Before attending an interview for this position you must inform your Faculty/School Placement Officer and we strongly suggest you check you are eligible for a placement before you apply. If your Faculty/School does not have a Placement Officer, you must inform your course tutor.
