Job Description:About the Role:Grade Level (for internal use): 13Fixed Income Services – DirectorThe Team:You will be part of a dynamic, global team split across New York, London, Hong Kong and Cape Town. The team covers clients across all sectors and markets and works in a collaborative environment to deliver client projects with the support of Director-level leadership. Our division currently offers a flexible work-from-home policy with most analysts working in a hybrid environment.The Impact:The Fixed Income Advisory team provides Corporate Action and Fixed Income Identification Services to high yield, investment grade, or convertible debt issuers and their financial advisors around the world.What’s in it for you:You will be part of a global team that works with and advises senior management of publicly traded and private companies, debt capital markets professionals, and securities attorneys around the world. The purpose of our work is to provide actionable intelligence that helps companies better understand and effectively respond to the needs of their debt investors, as well as foster stronger relationships with the capital marketsOur Corporate Action services support Issuers in restructuring their debt through liability management exercises. Typically, we act as Information Agent and Depositary to assist with all types of Corporate Actions – ranging from Consent Solicitations to Tender/Exchange Offers.Our Fixed Income Identification services help Corporate Issuers, and their financial advisors identify, connect with and understand the holders of their debt. It plays an important role in an Issuers Creditor Relations program, providing visibility of their creditor base.Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of highly qualified subject matter experts (SMEs) who are responsible for identifying, activating, driving and winning with industry solutions that will grow the Fixed Income Advisory business share and amplify our impact in the market. Managers deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modelling, coaching, and caring
  • Partner with Corporate functions (Marketing, Business Development, Engineering, Corporate Strategy, etc.) and the Regions to set the growth strategy for Fixed Income Advisory (Corporates, Capital Markets), vision and goals for the company
  • Contribute to building Fixed Income Advisory capability in the Regions and activating worldwide Industry priorities, enabling progress and business acceleration
  • Identify cross-industry opportunities in collaboration with peers in other industry teams
  • Develop industry solution content and partner engagement models in line with our growth strategy and sales process and work closely with the Regional teams to scale industry solutions across all segments

What We’re Looking For:

  • University Degree (minimum Bachelor) preferably in Finance / Business / Economics
  • 10+ years of work experience in a related/similar field, especially in Corporate Actions, Settlements, Prime Brokerage, and Securities, Custody, and/or Corporate Actions
  • Comfortable with financial language and terminology
  • Strong analytical skills and writing ability
  • High level of attention to detail and time management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Proactive, innovative attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with teams, senior members of the organization, and clients
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United Kingdom
