This includes fair pay and conditions, workplace well-being, skills and progression and diversity and recruitment.About the role:We are currently hiring for a Fire Risk Assessments Programme Manager (FRA PM) to join our thriving Housing service.The FRA Programme Manager will lead the delivery and management of the Council’s Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) programme, ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022, Fire Safety Act 2021, and all relevant fire safety legislation. This role is critical in overseeing the identification, mitigation, and management of fire safety risks across the Council’s housing stock.The postholder will coordinate the timely completion of fire risk assessments and the implementation of remedial actions, working closely with internal teams, contractors, and external bodies, including acting as the primary point of contact for the London Fire Brigade.>> <<Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the entire delivery of the FRA programme and oversee the completion of remedial actions
  • Develop and implement an effective Resident Engagement Strategy related to fire safety.
  • Oversee and ensure the performance of all contractors involved in delivering FRA remedial actions.
  • Implement and oversee changes in the FRA programme, ensuring smooth and efficient adjustments are made to the plan.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for the London Fire Brigade, ensuring effective communication and collaboration on all fire safety matters.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (Level 3) in Fire Safety or NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety.
  • Level 4 Fire Risk Assessment Qualification, such as the IFE (Institute of Fire Engineers) Certificate in Fire Risk Assessment or equivalent.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body with evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
